Problems With the Titles in my Film
A colour such as grey may be used. The reason why the colour grey may be used is because it is a colour that is not s odrak as black s oyou would be able to see it agaist the costume of the charater. also grey is darker than the colour of the snow, so therefore grey would be a good option. The only problem with the colour grey is that it has no real relevance to my film.
Another colour that could be used maybe used is red. The reason why red may be used is because it will not blend into any of the background of my film. Also an advantage of using red is that red represents blood. The idea is that the antagonist will go through anything, even killing the protagonist to get what he wants.

How I have changed my film from my first draft
- I have changed the way the titles enter my film. Instead of the sliding in in a curly font they now appear at the same point of my film but not in the middle of my screen but at the bottom. The text it also not curly but a bold black print. The font that I have chosen to use is Times New Roman, the reason why I have chosen this font is because it is much more serious and easier to understand, Times New Roman is also more suitable to the thriller henre.
- I have also changed the sound that is being played at the point where the protagonist enters her bedroom. The new sound I have chosen is not as cheery but more serious sounding. The orginal sound that I was using in my film was very cheery this new sound is much more serious and it also sound like a build up to something that may be happening in my film.

First Draft of my Film
This is the first draft of my film. After viewing my film I have seen many ways that it could be changed for the better.
The fade from white that I have used in my film should be placed at the very start of my film, instead it is a couple of shots in.
With my titles although they stood out and were bold, they could also be changed. Instead of them sliding into the shot I think it would look better if I had the titles more towards the bottom of the screen and the text much bolder. After looking at other films as well I think that I should insert the directors and producers name into the titles, which is myself.
After re-listening to the music playing when the protagonist is taking her jewelery off, I think the music needs to be changed. The reason why I think the music needs to be changed is because when looking back it does not fit the image of the protagonist. The music I may use for the final peice will be more serious and not as cheery.

My film Title
When I Began thinking about film names, my initial idea was to call my film 'The Heist'. Heist is a word used to describe a type of robbery which would of been ideal for my film. After researching the name 'The Heist' I discovered that there are many films with the same or similar title so I decided again the idea.
I also thought of the name '24'. The reason why I was going to call my film '24' is because '24' will relate to 24 carat gold. In my film the antagonist wants to steal valuables and 24 carat gold is very expensive. I decided against the idea of calling my film '24' because as with The Heist the name has already been taken. There is an American television series called '24'.
I decided to use the title 'AU 79'. The reason why I have chosen to name my film 'AU 79' is because AU is the symbol for gold and '79' is the atomic number according to the periodic table of elements.

The use of newspapers in my film and other films.
Broadsheet newspapers tend to be shown in films where there are business men. Broadsheets are filled with the latest news both in the UK and the international news. They are aimed at highly educated people.

Sounds that may be used in my Film
I will also have a clock ticking sound playing when the antagonist is looking at his watch. The reason why I will have this playing is because he makes the antagonist look even more under pressure.
I may also have classical music playing on the clip where the protagonist is walking upto her house. The reason why I will play classical music is because he is relaxed and is unaware of what is about to happen.
The sound of a a van may also be played on the last shot of my film. The reason why I only want the sound to play in the Background an the audience not phyiscally see the van is because I want to keep the audience hooked and also not to reveal is the van is the antagonists van.

Camera Work that may be used in my Film
The above video is a video of a panning shot that may may be used in my film. The reason why I will use a panning shot in my film is to show the actions of two different characters and the same time.
There is only one problem with using a panning shot in a film. This problem is that the 180 degree rule is not broken. If the panning shot is too wide then the 180 degree rule will be broken. The reason why the 180 degree rule should not be broken is because in films (not all the time however) the good person is located on the left and the bad person is located on the right hand side of the screen. So if the characters change position on the screen then this may confuse the viewing audience.
I will also use a low angle shot on some on the shots that the antagonist is acting in. The reason why I will use this shot is to make the antagonist look superior to the viewer.
I will use a high angle shot on one shot in my film that the protagonist is in. The reason why I have chosen to use this shot is because women in films are seen to be vulnerable. The high angle shot will make the audience feel more superior than the protagonist in the film.
Another shot that I will use towards the end of my film is a survey pan shot. I will use this shot to show the isolation of the protagonists home and how vulerable she is in the film.

New Storyboard Shots for my Film
This shot will go between the shot of the antagonists while he is on the phone, the person who is on the phone will be in this shot above with the camera switching between the two shots. The lighting that I will use in this shot will be usual day time lighting. The sound used will just be diegetic sound. The dialogue will be the sociltor in the above picture on the phone to the antagonist.
This shot will be a high angle shot and will be located between my orginal sh0t 4 and shot5. This shot will show the protagoniist walking up the stairs. The lighting used in this shot will be normal day time lighting.
This shot will be of the protagonist sitting on the bed taking the jewellery off and placing the jewllerry in her jewllerry box. The lighting will be normal daytime lighting with the camera shot being a medium shot.

How my questionnaire results could help me create a film for a specific audience
In the opening part of my film I must make sure that the good person (protagonist) and the bad person (antagonist) are clearly established. I will achieve this because in films men are seen to be the antagonist and the women tend to be seen as the prtagonist and I have kept to this convention in my film. The man in my film that it located at the office acting as the soilster is also a protagonist, as he is unware when dealing with the antagonist of the antagonists plans to break in to his wife's grandmother's home.
During the opening part of my film I must make sure that I do not give the whole stroy of my film away, however I must make sure that the viewer can follow the storyline of my film very easily.
When editing the opening of my film I must make sure that I get my sound correct. In my scene where the antagonist is looking at his watch I must make sure that the non-digetic sound of the clock is played at the right moment of the scene.
To make my thriller film successful I will keep my viewers in suspense during the opening of my film. I will keep my viewers in suspense by not actually showing the break in during the opening few minuets of my film.
The questionnaire that I took out earlier in my film research has give me a lot of guidance for the making of my film. Without my questionnaire that I wrote out I may not know what viewers of thriller films want to see happen during the opening of the film.

Mise-En-Scene in My Films Office Scene
The image above is an image of the solictiors office. The scene was not thought up untill i was reviewing each shot in my storyboard and then I decided that my film needed an extra shot.
The mise-en-scene in the shot is exacle what you would expect in any office scene. All offices have laptop/computers and phones. Office workers also are represented to always be reading newspapers.
Mise-en-scene also includes the costumes that the charcters are wearing. In an office scene, business men/women are nearly also seen to be dressed in a suit with a shirt and tie. This gives the viewer the idea that the film is more realistic.
When filimg, I must bear in mind continuety. The reason for this is because I want the viewer to see the scene as it has all been filmed to gether not over a period of time.

Diffrent Film Titles
The film Screem has a relation to what happens in the film. Screem is a horror film and one of the main characters in the film; Casey in seen to be screamming at many diffrent points during the opening few minuets of the film. When you think of the word Scream you think of scary situations and this is what the film Screem is all about.
The film Halloween has a relation to what happens in the film. Halloween is a horror that is set at the time of halloween. Just from the title of the film you know that the film will be a scary film because when halloween time of the years comes there are many trick or treaters and these type of people are seen to be usually dressed scaryly.
The Carry On films are very sigificant, the Carry On films are known to be very funny. The Carry On films are mixed of comical; double entendres, pardoies and slaptick situations. So when you here the name of film and it starts with Carry On... You know that it will be a funny film. An example of a Carry On film is Carry On Screaming. Carry On Screaming, although it has the screaming in the title it is not a scary film. It starts of in a scary situation of a forest where there is somebody hiding in the bushes. There is are other forest parts in the film, however there are funny moments in them.

Outside shots for my film
This shot is of the garden of the antagonists home. This shot may not be used in my film, however the lighting of this shot may be similar to part of my film when the antagonist is getting ready to break in to the protagonists home to steel the jewelery.

Credits in my film
The opening credits of films usually include some action in them, however they only do include mild action in them. The reason for this is because the filmmakers do not want to give away the whole idea of what the film is about, but give the viewer a taster of what the film is going to be about.
I have looked at the opening credits for; Catch Me If You Can:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaLDyrun_Cc
The reason why I have chosen to look at the opening credits of the film Catch Me If You Can is because they are very significant. The sound that is being played while the credits are being shown is the typical sound of that you would see in a comedy film. The credits are made up by the set, in the sense that the actual titles are already there with the lines that go through your screen but the names are changed accordingly. Also in the opening credits some of the titles are pulled around the screen by a aeroplane, this gives the viewer of somebody not being able to catch up with somebody which is what the film is called; Catch Me If You Can.
Through looking at many opening credits of different films, I have learned that the production team's names should be in the opening credits, along with the name of the actors in the film. The characters names should not be included in the opening credits of my film.
The closing credits of films are completely different to the opening credits of any film. The reason for this is because the viewer has now seen the film so the filmmakers do not need to give the viewers any ideas of what the film will be about.
I have looked at the closing credits for the film; The Boys In Company C;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-ojh7dA2KA
The reason why I have chosen to look at the closing credits for this film; The Boys In Company is because they are simple. Most other films have the same type of ending credits, usually set on a black screen with the names in white moving towards the top of the screen. However, not every film ends like The Boys In Company C, Rocky 4 ends with the credits running through shots of events in the film;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Qz74cEN5aw
The other way films may use their ending credits is to have the titles on the one side of the screen and on the other to have a box with clips from the film.

Review of Mise-En-Scene in my film

Comparing film posters (Love Actually and Halloween II)
The film poster shows all the people who are in love. All the images are tired together with a red riben. The reason why the colour of the image is red is because red is a colour associated with love. The film poster creators also uses the riben to make the film poster look like a gift, at the bow of the riben there is a tag with a heart at the bottom of the tag. In the title in the film poster in the title Love Actually the word Love in typed in the colour red, the text is also bold. The boldness and redness of the word red also suggests a sense of love and ramance in the film.
Halloween II is horror film that was made in 1981. The film is directed by Rick Rosenthal. As the title suggests the film is set at Halloween time. The film is about somebody breaking into a house a steealing a knife. The murderer in the film is sshot many times, however he does not die, he stabs other people after he has been shot. The murderer hunts people down throughout the film to kill them.
The film poster uses the colour black, the colour black is associated with death, there are many deaths in this film. The main image on the film poster is of a pumpkin, pumpkins are associated with halloween and halloween is always seen ro be a scary time of the year. The writting on the film poster is in white, this colour stands out again the black background.
Both of these film posters are the complete opposite to eachother. The film posters are a contrast between happy (Love Actually) and sad (Halloween II). My film will not be a happy film like Love Actually but will be a more sad film like Halloween II because there will be a bulgary taking place.
